 A true Hardcore Birding expedition to Panama’s largest national park (1.430.740 acres/ 579.000 ha.) Our adventure take you from the lowlands at the Rancho Frio ranger station to the foothills at Rancho Plastico and deep inside the Cerro Pirre cloud forest; on a trip that has it all: birding, hiking and camping.
The Darien wilderness is the home of several endemics and specialtis such: Pirre Chlorospingus, Pirre Hummingbird, Choco Tinamou, Beautiful Treerunner, Varied Solitaire, Crimson-bellied Woodpecker, Harpy Eagle, Sharp-tailed Streamcreeper, Double-banded Graytail, Crested Eagle, Saffron-headed Parrot, Choco Tapaculo, Yellow-Green Grosbeak, Tawny-Breasted Flycatcher, Green-naped Tanager, and Sharpbill and many others.
